About the Role
The Genesee Brew House is looking for a motivated Dishwasher to ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
Responsibilities
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
- Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
- Maintain working area safe and clean; sweep/mop as needed
- Maintain kitchen floors clean and dry ensuring timely wipe up and clean-up of any spills
- Notify Manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse falls below safety standard temperatures
Requirements
- Manual dexterity skills
- Organizational skills
- Active listening - paying full attention to what is being said, understanding points being made, asking questions as appropriate
- Speaking - effectively convey information to others
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with assistance up to two times per shift
