About the Role
Study Smart collaborates with partners to promote educational equity, access, and success by providing a diverse range of tools for students, families, and educators. Our mission is grounded in closing opportunity gaps and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support.
Responsibilities
- Teach Math and ELA subjects for grades K-2nd and 6th-8th.
- Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
- Utilize information about class assignments to inform tutoring.
- Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
- Partner with Study Smart's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies.
Requirements
- Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
- Must complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
Work Type
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:35 AM - 10:45 AM EST
Education Level
- Completed 4-year degree
Salary/Compensations
- $50 per hour
- $22.00 per hour for onboarding/training/preparation/support
