About the Role
This position provides support for the Data Center and campus, aiming to create a clean and orderly environment for guests, which is critical for maintaining and strengthening the company's reputation. The role reports to the Facility Manager.
Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to data center operation practices and avoid operation of data center related equipment.
- Avoid touching the EPO (of any kind) in data centers.
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
- Maintain inventory and maintenance of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities.
- Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of English language.
Education Level
- High school degree, GED or equivalent work experience required.
