  • Utilize infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform) to automate and manage cloud resources.
  • Manage secrets using tools like Hashicorp Vault, Google Secret Manager, and Azure KeyVault.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and effective.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with experience in creating and recommending solution architectures and designs.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and managed cloud-based Kubernetes offerings (AKS, EKS, GKE).
  • Experience with PaaS solutions such as Google Cloud Functions and Amazon Lambda.
  • Solid networking experience, particularly in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with a strong focus on network security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native or SaaS CI/CD solutions such as Argo Workflows, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of authentication (SSO, OAuth, service accounts) and authorization (IAM, RBAC) fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code, with a strong preference towards Hashicorp Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with secret management tools such as Hashicorp Vault, Google Secret Manager, and Azure KeyVault.
  • Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CKAD).

  • Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example).
  • AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada.
