About the Role

The MeshMesh team is building the next-generation mesh networking platform for Salesforce customers. As the Senior Director of Solution Engineering, you will build and lead a world-class team of Solution Engineers who show customers what we are building, connect it to their business priorities, and help them see why it matters. You will pioneer agentic solution engineering, equipping your team to design, build, and deliver demos, prototypes, and proofs of value using AI agents and AI coding tools, and scaling the way we engage customers. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering leadership to drive revenue, shape the product roadmap with customer insights, and set the standard for technical selling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers and managers.
  • Define and drive the agentic solution engineering strategy, using AI agents and AI coding tools to accelerate discovery, demo and prototype creation, technical validation, and proof-of-value delivery.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to support pipeline creation, deal strategy, and quota attainment through technical expertise.
  • Engage with senior business and technical executives at key customers to articulate the business value of MeshMesh.
  • Establish best practices, playbooks, and reusable assets for demos, workshops, and customer engagements, including agent-built and agent-assisted assets.
  • Build scalable enablement programs that train SEs and the broader sales team on product capabilities, agentic ways of working, and value-based selling.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by feeding field insights and competitor intelligence to Product and Engineering.
  • Define and track team metrics, including coverage, win rate, technical win rate, and productivity gains from agentic workflows.
  • Represent MeshMesh at marketing events, customer briefings, and industry conferences.
  • Be willing and flexible to travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, or technical sales, including 5+ years leading SE teams.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing SE organizations that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Agentic Engineer leader - you and your team build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship demos and prototypes fast.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence executives.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with a focus on articulating business value.
  • Experience selling CRM, SaaS, or other high-value enterprise solutions across a range of industries.
  • Strategic thinker who can also operate hands-on in the details of key customer engagements.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience.
