About the Role
The Transaction Management Team manages a portfolio of trade receivables finance and securitisation programmes, acting as a key client contact for reporting and funding processes. Responsibilities include reviewing reports, monitoring performance, overseeing payments, managing operational issues, and supporting audits.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of trade receivables financing and securitisation programmes.
- Review transaction and investor reports for accuracy against requirements.
- Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies and data quality issues.
- Monitor transaction performance and reporting requirements, escalating exceptions.
- Process payments and perform reconciliations and operational activities accurately.
- Develop knowledge of platform processes and support transaction implementation.
- Assist with and communicate directly on queries from clients, investors, funders, and service providers.
- Maintain transaction procedures, reporting calendars, and operational records.
- Support the onboarding and transition of new transactions.
- Contribute to audits, transaction changes, and cross-functional projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and operational processes.
- Develop a strong understanding of transaction structures, documentation, and reporting methodologies.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in structured finance, securitisation, trade receivables finance, banking, financial operations, or a similar financial-services environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with confidence in handling financial data and spreadsheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking calculations, reports, and data.
- An interest in developing a strong understanding of transaction structures, financial reporting, and operational controls.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies logically.
- Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to work with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership.
- A proactive mindset and interest in improving processes, controls, and automation.
