Responsibilities
- Advance our multiplayer agentic harness for collaboration between humans, agents, firm systems, and clients.
- Design multi-agent workflows using orchestration and actor models for work division and coordination.
- Build shared task and state management for reliable work transfer between agents, attorneys, clients, and firm systems.
- Enhance agent effectiveness across software through computer use and deep integrations.
- Convert expert interactions into learning signals by capturing delegation, correction, and review decisions.
- Build memory and continual learning systems to improve agent support and facilitate adoption of new training methods and models.
- Improve evaluation frameworks to connect agent performance to economic outcomes.
- Build dynamic, collaborative interfaces for human-agent interaction in document review and exception resolution.
- Define new methods for delegating, monitoring parallel work, requesting input, and approving actions.
- Provide firm leaders with a live view of operations, connecting priorities, ownership, dependencies, and progress.
- Engineer for high-stakes collaboration with built-in permissions, confidentiality, audit trails, secure execution, and recovery.
- Make legal precedent more useful to agents and apply general capabilities to demanding workflows.
- Integrate clients into the workflow through portals and shared workspaces.
- Advance engineering practices by building with coding agents and measuring their impact on delivery speed and quality.
- Conduct novel AI research grounded in professional work, publish findings, and collaborate with the research community.
Requirements
- AI Fluency: Successful candidates actively use AI in their day-to-day work to support thinking, creation, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate and discuss their AI usage throughout the interview process, including concrete examples of tools, workflows, and outcomes.
