About the Role
Rose Rocket is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their AI Native Engineering organization. This role involves designing, building, and shipping high-impact functionality for Rose Rocket's next-generation logistics platform, working with cutting-edge AI tools and transforming the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship high-impact functionality from platform foundations to customer-facing features.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies that are transforming the logistics industry.
- Create scalable frameworks that power the system.
- Deliver key features from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with product-focused, cross-functional teams.
- Experiment and learn with the latest agentic coding tools and integrate them into the daily workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Curiosity and openness to learn new domains beyond coding.
- Driven to deliver customer value/outcome.
- Experience building with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and ability to showcase a project.
- Experience with agile project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Linear, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Git and a solid understanding of version control best practices.
