About the Role
The Production Coordinator (Contractor) will serve as the logistical engine behind our Producers, managing the production office and field logistics to ensure smooth execution of shoots. This role requires jumping between projects to allow creatives to focus on storytelling and bridging the gap between vision and reality.
Responsibilities
- Manage travel and movement for cast and crew, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and per diems.
- Coordinate call sheets to ensure timely arrival of personnel.
- Oversee onsite logistics such as crew meals, craft services, and equipment coordination.
- Facilitate location access and manage the run of show from call to wrap.
- Handle production paperwork, including permits, releases, vendor invoices, and location agreements.
- Manage petty cash and expense tracking.
Requirements
- Exceptional logistical skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively.
- Proven experience in production coordination or a similar role involving travel, vendor management, budgets, and multitasking.
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure field situations, adeptly handling rebookings, resourcefulness, and problem-solving.
- A strong network of vendors, crew, and locations is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as call sheets, production schedules, budget tracking, and project management software.
