About the Role
Pharmacy Teammate supports pharmacists by assisting with prescription preparation, processing customer orders, and ensuring safe, efficient customer service and performing general housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions, including retrieving medications, counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions.
- Provide a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience for all customers.
- Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Pharmacy operations, safety, and sanitation.
- Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, and complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
- Process orders, including filling prescriptions and accepting payment.
- Fulfill general housekeeping duties.
- Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Salary/Compensations
- $16.75 - $20.95
