About the Role
Tromberg, Miller, Morris & Partners, PLLC (TMMP) is a well-respected law firm seeking a Creditors’ Rights Associate Attorney, licensed in both NY and NJ, to join their growing team. The Firm represents financial institutions, lenders and creditors and maintains a professional and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents including complaints, defaults, motions, judgments, disputes, garnishments and settlements
- Adequately manage a case load and update case management system
- Prepare and attend hearings or mediations as necessary
- Communicate effectively with associate attorneys, staff and clients
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task a large number of matters at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of honesty and ethics as an officer of the court
- Willingness to seek to fulfil our clients’ needs in a consumer-friendly fashion
