About the Role
Johnson's Real Ice Cream is seeking a highly organized Retail Operations Manager to drive operational excellence remotely. This role will oversee digital workflows for recruitment, labor optimization, and inventory supply chains to ensure the success of multiple retail storefronts.
Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor and optimize daily operations, compliance, and performance metrics of multiple retail locations.
- Oversee the digital labor scheduling architecture across storefronts to balance labor budgets with peak seasonal traffic.
- Manage the end-to-end digital recruitment, hiring, and remote onboarding pipelines for seasonal team members, shift leaders, and shop managers.
- Utilize inventory tracking systems to monitor bulk stock levels, coordinate production demand with the manufacturing hub, and streamline ordering processes.
- Analyze sales data, labor metrics, and customer sentiment reviews to identify trends and implement strategic improvements across all regions.
- Serve as the primary remote point of contact for store managers, streamlining corporate updates, policy changes, and training materials.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in regional retail management, hospitality operations, or multi-location food and beverage oversight.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations, lead teams, and maintain high accountability while working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successfully aligning decentralized, on-the-ground teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
