About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse technology transactions, primarily across software, fintech, digital media, marketplaces/e-commerce, and digital services. The ideal candidate will have prior internship experience at a leading investment bank or corporate advisory firm, a passion for technology and investment banking, an excellent academic background, and strong numerical and communication skills. The candidate must be a team player, eager to take on responsibility, possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be self-motivated, and have stamina for a high-energy team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist team members in preparing pitches and updating marketing materials with sector research and analysis.
- Perform independent research and analyses of technology companies to support new business generation.
- Support the preparation of investment documents, including executive summaries, investment memorandums, investor presentations, and financial models.
- Assist in assembling, developing, and editing information requests, due diligence lists, confidentiality agreements, proposals, and management documents for M&A processes.
- Collaborate with teams across Europe, the US, and Asia.
Requirements
- Previous internship experience at a leading bulge bracket investment bank or corporate advisory firm.
- Genuine passion for technology and investment banking.
- Excellent academic background.
- Highly numerical and articulate.
- Team player.
- Keen to take on responsibility.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Considerably self-motivated.
- High degree of stamina to work within a high energy and focused team environment.
- Some experience from investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or venture capital.
- Demonstrable passion for technology through past work experience, personal interests, activity in societies and communities, or other extracurriculars.
- Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to connect high-level strategic thinking to the nuances in company’s financials.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
- Proficiency in English (fluency in written and verbal).
