About the Role
As a Junior Strategy Consultant, you will help companies secure their future viability and open up new business areas by developing customized strategies. You will address the challenges of the chemical industry, such as CO2 neutrality, rising energy costs, digitalization, and skilled labor shortages, using transformative ideas, digital technologies, and deep industry knowledge. You will shape the future of a central European industry by implementing innovative strategies and practical solutions, working full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the digital transformation of clients.
- Accompany clients in the chemical and process industry to renew their business models and processes, staying updated on trends and sustainability aspects.
- Transform industry challenges into advantages by understanding client needs, identifying improvement potential, and recognizing contemporary technologies.
- Formulate growth strategies and initiate M&A activities, including due diligence, carve-out, and post-merger integration.
- Strengthen the performance of chemical companies through the targeted use of cutting-edge technology and analytics tools.
- Contribute to the further development of our consulting portfolio.
Requirements
- Completed Master's degree with a business administration focus.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- First experience in a management consultancy.
- A passion for the chemical industry.
- Experience in a strategy department or a line function within a company is ideal.
- Detailed knowledge of business administration processes.
- Strong interest in industrial interrelationships.
- Enthusiasm for technology and digitalization topics and their integration into business strategies.
