About the Role
As an intern in the Streaming Team, you will support BMG's global streaming strategy, focusing on the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets. Your mission is to optimize the placement of diverse releases from artists on digital streaming platforms (DSPs) and maximize their reach.
Responsibilities
- Compile detailed release plans and concise pitch forms for digital partners like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, Deezer, and Tidal.
- Support the optimization of local artists' channels on various streaming platforms, including YouTube.
- Gather and distribute essential information and assets for new releases.
- Continuously monitor and analyze streaming performance of local and international artists in the DACH region.
- Assist in creating and preparing visual content for artists' YouTube channels.
- Plan and track pitches, and meticulously report on results.
- Support the creation of highlight, quarterly, and results presentations for artist management and internal departments.
- Analyze and evaluate streaming numbers across all international platforms.
- Create the weekly streaming newsletter to inform internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken German and English are essential for our international environment.
- Prior knowledge and confident use of Microsoft Tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interest in international music industry trends and genres, as well as current digital music releases.
- Ability to interpret streaming data and derive recommendations for action.
- Proactive and independent work style with a passion for learning and contributing.
- Excellent team player who values collaboration in a dynamic environment.
