About the Role

As a Commercial Contracts Associate (NDA), you will work on a high impact team providing important services to Norm Law’s clients. You will use AI agents to streamline the drafting, review, and execution process for non-disclosure agreements. Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver efficient, precise, and data-driven legal services for in-house legal teams of leading asset managers. Our practice embraces AI to reduce burden and increase your ability to focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement.

Responsibilities

Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, negotiate, and redline NDAs tailored to client guidelines.
Advise clients on their NDA playbooks and market standards, ensuring AI agents understand client context and comparing client practices with playbook positions to guide updates.
Integrate AI agents into workflow management, execution, negotiation, and coordination with counterparties for NDAs.
Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and velocity.
Work closely with technology teams to enhance the NDA review process using AI.
Maintain a tracker, manage multiple high priority requests simultaneously, communicate timing expectations to clients, and proactively follow up to move negotiations forward.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor admitted in England and Wales, with a current Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) practising certificate.
2-3+ years of experience reviewing NDAs or similar agreements.
Strong drafting and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Interest in applying technology to enhance traditional deal workflows.
Learn firm AI platforms within 30 days.
Begin supporting the commercial contracts team using AI-enabled review and drafting within 30 days.
Independently manage discrete components of NDA review with AI support within 60 days.
Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live NDA reviews within 90 days.
