About the Role

Data is the foundation of every AI-native product we build, and Product+ needs someone to shape how we source, govern, and capitalize on it. In this role, you'll define the Product+ data strategy, build the third-party data and technology relationships that bring it to life, and advise leadership on how our data assets can drive new revenue. This is a rare chance to sit at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and monetization at a portfolio level.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the process to define, document, and refresh the Product+ data strategy, aligning priorities with Product+ leadership.
  • Engage stakeholders across the firm (product, technology, legal, risk, and finance) to gather requirements and build consensus on data needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard third-party data and technology providers that support the data strategy.
  • Manage ongoing vendor and partner relationships, including contract renewals, usage, performance, and cost.
  • Administer the firm processes required for data and technology acquisition, including procurement, risk, and compliance reviews, and keep documentation audit-ready.
  • Track and report data usage and spend across the Product+ portfolio to inform investment decisions.
  • Support financial metrics and associated Product+ P&L reporting including commercial performance across pipeline, adoption, margin, and annual growth targets.
  • Serve as a key advisor on data monetization efforts, helping assess opportunities, pricing considerations, and go-to-market approaches.
  • Prepare recommendations and updates for Product+ leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in data strategy, data product management, vendor/partner management, or technology strategy consulting.
  • 2+ years' experience managing third-party data or technology vendor relationships, including contract or renewal management.
  • 2+ years' experience working directly with senior stakeholders or leadership teams.
  • Experience working within an enterprise procurement, compliance, or risk review process.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • 2+ years' experience supporting or advising on data monetization, data licensing, or data product pricing (Preferred).
  • Experience in a professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environment (Preferred).
  • Experience tracking and reporting on software or data usage and spend (e.g., using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) (Preferred).
  • Experience working with AI/ML products or data used to power them (Preferred).
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a related field (Preferred).

Skills

  • Ability to translate ambiguous strategic goals into clear, actionable plans.
  • Strong executive communication and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Comfort navigating complex, cross-functional processes and balancing competing priorities.
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive, contractual, or regulated information.
  • Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
