About the Role
This role involves conducting general facility upkeep, assisting with equipment maintenance, and supporting daily operations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general facility upkeep such as trash removal, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Assist mechanics with routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.).
- Support daily maintenance operations to keep the facility running safely and efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while completing assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Warehouse or maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (or willingness to learn).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow directions and work both independently and on a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical job demands.
- Experience operating equipment such as electric pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
