About the Role
Drive the development of Global Booking Holdings and Booking.com strategy by collaborating with stakeholders across all business levels to create multi-year strategic plans. Solve unique and complex problems impacting a multi-billion dollar global business, requiring creative thinking, data analysis, and navigation of a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Be a thought leader in the travel and experiences market by understanding industry, competitor, and consumer trends.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic plan for potential strategic expansion areas, evaluating new business models, initiatives, investments, or deals.
- Lead critical projects to solve complex strategic and operational challenges, defining success, scoping analyses, and driving outcomes.
- Build alignment with senior stakeholders on key recommendations to drive significant company transformation.
- Support regular Booking Holdings business review processes by providing visibility and guidance to the Board of Directors.
- Coach and lead Global Strategy team members on functional and personal skills.
Requirements
- Skilled in strategy development, including project scoping, hypothesis development, financial and business modeling, strategic option identification, consensus building, and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate strategy clearly and simply.
- Ability to distill complex business issues and strategies to highlight insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a highly matrixed and complex environment.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and deal with ambiguity.
- Willingness to actively drive resolution of issues in a timely manner.
- Expertise in experiences and / or events / ticketing marketplaces is highly desirable.
