Responsibilities
- Review technical claims and expert reports in property and liability insurance for private and commercial clients.
- Examine insurance law aspects and evaluate damage-related calculations to ensure adequate reserves.
- Act as a technical contact and advisor for external adjusters, taking responsibility for end products.
- Independently process claims with a focus on quality.
- Review insurance law aspects and identify subrogation opportunities.
- Manage claims and adjusters until closure.
- Conduct site inspections and handle own claim assignments.
- Contribute expertise to a motivated team.
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of insurance law in the property and liability sectors.
- Service-oriented demeanor and professional conduct under stress.
- Structured, reliable work style with the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
- Openness to using AI-powered tools like Copilot.
- Excellent German grammar and spelling.
- Strong negotiation skills with various parties.
- Willingness to travel for external assignments.
