- Attach and index source documents, maintenance releases, logbook entries, work packages, inspection records, and other objective evidence supporting compliance.
- Conduct and document monthly SMS, IS-BAO-aligned AD and SB research and compliance audits.
- Maintain a traceable research log identifying audit details, sources searched, publications reviewed, affected aircraft or components, applicability determination, compliance status, follow-up action, reviewer or approval status, supporting evidence, and filing location.
- Escalate new, uncertain, overdue, incomplete, or conflicting regulatory and manufacturer publication findings for review and disposition.
- Cross-check CAMP, the SAM Aircraft Log and Maintenance Program, aircraft logbooks, and controlling source records, identifying and correcting differences.
- Support the development, validation, testing, and implementation of the SAM flight and maintenance log.
- Maintain accurate aircraft, engine, propeller, avionics, appliance, and component records.
- Upload, classify, index, organize, cross-reference, and correct maintenance documentation using established standards.
- Develop and administer coordinated electronic and physical files that complement the SAM flight and maintenance log.
- Prepare and index logbook information and verify receipt of completed work packages, maintenance releases, invoices, supporting records, and required approvals.
- Maintain visibility of upcoming, due-soon, and overdue maintenance requirements and produce exception lists.
- Maintain the records and compliance portions of Maintenance Events and Maintenance Requests after physical work is performed.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc compliance, maintenance-status, reconciliation, due-item, records-completeness, audit, and management reports.
- Support internal audits, IS-BAO conformity activities, SMS processes, client reviews, and aircraft acquisition or disposition projects.
- Protect confidential records, maintain data quality, follow access-control requirements, and preserve record retention and audit history.
Requirements
- Three or more years of aircraft maintenance records, aviation compliance, maintenance planning, quality assurance, document control, or comparable experience preferred.

- Experience with CAMP or a comparable computerized maintenance tracking system.
- Strong research, document-control, records-indexing, data-entry, reconciliation, analytical, and quality-control skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to identify conflicting, incomplete, missing, or unsupported maintenance information.
- Ability to organize and preserve long-term electronic and physical records using consistent naming, metadata, revision, retention, and cross-reference standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to work independently within assigned authority, manage recurring deadlines, prioritize exceptions, and escalate matters requiring technical or management judgment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with pilots, maintenance providers, managers, auditors, clients, and acquisition personnel.
