About the Role

As a member of the Site Security team, you will be an active contributor to securing the facility perimeter and ensuring a seamless, compliant experience for all internal and external stakeholders. Your work will focus on securing physical access to protect intellectual property, ensuring compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 frameworks, and streamlining site access workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Lenel OnGuard system, ensuring programming complies with NISPOM physical security requirements for protecting government property.
  • Manage the cardholder database to ensure access is strictly limited based on clearance level and the principle of least privilege, conducting frequent audits to align with operational requirements.
  • Configure alarm routing for immediate notification of unauthorized access attempts and investigate and document all alarm events per NISPOM protocols.
  • Direct the visitor management process, ensuring all guests are vetted against authorized access lists and that foreign national access is handled strictly according to NISPOM requirements.
  • Enforce host accountability, ensuring visitors receive proper escorts and briefings and remain under continuous supervision in sensitive areas.
  • Maintain precise visitor logs that serve as the primary source of truth during site emergencies and evacuations.
  • Manage the full badging lifecycle, verifying identity and authorization to support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in maintaining site security integrity.
  • Administer the Key Control Program, maintaining a meticulous real-time inventory and executing periodic audits to ensure physical keys are secured in GSA-approved containers.
  • Coordinate between access systems (Lenel) and surveillance (Milestone) to provide a defense-in-depth security posture.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external security auditors regarding access control, visitor management, and key control documentation.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess, or have the ability to obtain and maintain, a government-issued security clearance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in physical security, access control management, or Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing and programming enterprise-level electronic access control systems (e.g., Lenel OnGuard) and building security management software.
