About the Role
Manage complex professional indemnity, cyber and technology claims from initial investigation through to effective resolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of complex professional indemnity, cyber and technology claims within agreed authority levels.
- Interpret complex policy wordings, investigate claims thoroughly and assess liability, quantum and exposure.
- Work with brokers, insureds, experts and legal partners to deliver timely, commercially sound settlements and defence strategies.
- Set accurate reserves, identify emerging trends and provide clear analysis and reporting to management.
- Support less experienced colleagues, maintain high-quality claim data and contribute to projects and presentations.
Requirements
- Proven experience handling complex professional indemnity, cyber, technology or closely related commercial claims.
- Strong coverage analysis, reserving and quantum assessment skills, with confidence working within delegated authority.
- A track record of developing effective settlement strategies and resolving challenging claims with multiple stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and market developments affecting complex claims.
- Clear communication, accurate reporting and the ability to guide colleagues while working effectively with brokers, insureds and experts.
