About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative and execution-oriented Senior Director – Working Capital & Cash Optimization to lead group-wide operational cash efficiency, liquidity improvement and direct cash flow forecasting and reporting across our international portfolio of businesses. The Senior Director will serve as the central change agent, partnering with finance, treasury and procurement leaders to design, implement, and institutionalize a "cash-first culture". This role will identify operational improvements across Contract-to-Cash (C2C / DSO), Procure-to-Pay / Source-to-Settle (P2P / DPO), and Forecast-to-Fulfill (F2F / DIO) processes, driving sustainable cash flow optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic reviews of the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), analyzing DSO, DIO, DPO, and Net Working Capital across global operating entities.
  • Lead the recurring global Cash Council comprising Business Unit CFOs and Finance leaders to review KPI trends, assign action items, and drive cash initiatives.
  • Lead the design of cross-functional process and automation initiatives spanning C2C (billing speed, dunning, dispute resolution), P2P (payment term alignment, payment clock optimization, early payment elimination), and F2F (inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and fulfillment strategy alignment).
  • Design, establish, and embed group-wide reporting dashboards and operational KPIs to monitor performance and sustain gains.
  • Build, refine, and maintain 13-week direct cash flow forecasting models at the corporate and portfolio level to enhance cash predictability, visibility, and liquidity planning.
  • Standardize global policies for customer credit risk, billing cycles, vendor payment terms, and inventory thresholds.
  • Build trust and strong working relationships with leaders across all portfolio companies and geographies to collaborate on challenges and drive change management.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive finance, treasury, or operational transformation experience in a global corporate environment or management consulting firm (working capital, restructuring, or finance practice).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives, and functional teams across decentralized, matrixed global business units without direct line authority.
  • Strong project management background with a track record of implementing cross-functional operational programs that deliver measurable working capital improvements.

Skills

  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Proven expertise in building direct cash flow forecasting models.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau), and advanced financial modeling tools.
