About the Role
Conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems, including detailed troubleshooting. Aims for high customer satisfaction through direct interface and provides solutions to building inefficiencies. Mentors junior technicians on building automation.
Responsibilities
- Conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems.
- Troubleshoots complex control systems malfunctions.
- Interfaces directly with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
- Mentors control technicians, service technicians, and mechanical technicians on building automation.
- Completes required project and service documentation.
- Provides customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes during service.
- Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions.
- Tests and writes modifications in multiple systems software languages.
- Consults with customers using gathered data and site assessments.
- Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
- Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
Requirements
- Minimum of Four (4) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
- Experience includes buildings, chiller plants, and systems.
- Vocational School program graduate or an associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.

Experience Level
