About the Role
Join our high-end Periodontial practice as our Patient Care Coordinator, where you will play a key role in enhancing the patient experience. This is a role for a dental or medical administrative professional whose career is and will be in this field.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and managing patient check-ins and check-outs
- Scheduling and confirming appointments; answering phone calls and emails
- Ensuring the office runs seamlessly by monitoring the schedule and effectively communicating with the team
- Maintaining a productive doctor/hygiene schedule
- Mailing out thank you cards to referring doctors for new patients
- Ensuring that we have the most recent X-rays on file for patients, updating health histories every 3 years
- Scanning and filing documents; generating consent and post-op forms for all surgical procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental practice; Perio or Oral Surgery experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with dental office management software and insurance processes
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially
Work Type

- No weekends

- $30 - $35 per hour
