About the Role
This position is focused on the setup and operation of a multi-spindle, multi-turret lathe, applying inspection techniques to monitor the CNC process and collaborating with colleagues to maximize productivity in the precision manufacturing of high-quality valves and actuators for aerospace and power generation customers.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, shop travelers, and operation sketches for machined and/or fabricated parts.
- Inspect parts to specifications and document results.
- Install fixtures and set work offsets.
- Prepare and set tools needed for machining operations using an offline tool pre-setter.
- Accurately and efficiently diagnose deviations and trends, adjusting offsets to maintain quality product based on analysis.
- Report machinery, tooling, or quality issues to supervisor.
- Run multiple machine centers as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a US Person or eligible for required export authorization.
- Experience in set-up and operation of multi-axis CNC machinery (3-axis lathes minimum).
- Ability to work from complex drawings containing GD&T.
- Ability to perform accurate manual inspections of parts produced.
- Solid understanding of G-code.
Skills
- 4/5 axis horizontal mills experience a plus.
- Pallet line experience a plus.
- Technical certification or degree a plus.
- Ability to program machines a plus.
- Experience with low volume, high mix production a plus.

Salary/Compensations
- $26 - $44 per hour plus $2 shift premium
