About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to manage and lead our after-school club, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. This role involves direct interaction with children, staff, parents, and school administration, promoting the club, and driving bookings.
Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and support staff in delivering a safe and effective program.
- Ensure effective communication between the venue, team, parents, school/leisure centre, and Central Operations.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for children, inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise, and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm.
- Implement protocols and policies with team members.
- Create unexpected experiences that make people go 'WOW!'.
- Bring unique talents and skills to the role.
Requirements
- Management and team leading experience.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Quick learner with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Behavior management experience.
- Must provide two references, one from the most recent employer and another from a childcare setting (if applicable).
- Must comply with Keeping Children Safe in Education policy.
- Must be eligible for a DBS check.
