About the Role
Spire St Anthony Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Staff Nurse to join their intensive care team, caring for level 2/3 patients and working alongside leading consultants. The multispecialty unit offers opportunities to expand skills and expertise across various surgical specialities.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe care for Level 2/3 patients in ITU
- Constantly assess and reassess patients' health and wellbeing needs across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
- Safe handling and sharing of complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Provide effective, safe, and high-standard care to patients post cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgical procedures
- Assist the Multi-Disciplinary Team in planning person-centred care
- Ensure effective communication and accurate documentation at all times
Requirements
- NMC registered with no restrictions
- ICU experience is essential
- ICU certificate is essential
- Cardiothoracic experience is desirable but not essential
