About the Role
Novotel London Waterloo is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee a team of two and ensure the highest quality of guest stays. This role involves managing preventive maintenance, health & safety, fire safety, and budgets for energy and consumables, as well as contributing to larger technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of two.
- Work in close collaboration with the Rooms and F&B departments.
- Ensure the highest quality of stay for guests.
- Be responsible for preventive maintenance, health & safety, and fire safety.
- Manage monthly spent in terms of energy and consumables as per the hotel’s budgets and forecasts.
- Manage larger technical Capex projects and Hotel Capex projects from a maintenance point of view.
- Participate in management meetings.
- Participate in Duty Manager shifts.
Requirements
- Previous management or leadership role required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
Skills
- Building maintenance experience is an asset.
