About the Role
Robin Hood seeks a Temporary Fundraising Telemarketing Assistant to support the Individual Giving and Engagement team in soliciting and thanking donors. This role involves making phone calls, writing emails, and tracking outreach in Excel, requiring confidence on the phone, persistence, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Make phone calls to past Robin Hood donors to invite their renewed support.
- Make phone calls to current Robin Hood donors to thank them for their recent gifts.
- Send personalized follow-up emails to strengthen donor relationships.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized donor data.
- Standardize and combine data from multiple sources into consistent formats.
- Review entries for accuracy and flag inconsistencies or missing information.
Requirements
- Comfortable making calls to new contacts in a lively, open office environment.
- Able to follow a loose script while adapting your approach to each individual conversation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Able to follow instructions carefully and work independently with minimal supervision.
