About the Role
St Paul's School of Nursing in Queens, NY is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Director for its Admissions Department. Responsibilities
- Manage the Admissions Department using sound business principles.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental, accreditation, and company policies and procedures.
- Administer the interviewing, enrolling, starting, and retaining of new students.
- Communicate student needs to other departments.
- Participate as a team player with the campus executive team and within the college environment.
- Uphold the core values of the school and the highest standards of ethics and truthfulness in providing information to prospective students regarding educational programs, facilities, costs, financial aid, and completion/graduation/placement and earning data.
- Document representatives' reviews through interviews and phone observations.
- Conduct annual reviews with representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field.
- At least 3 years of admissions and/or sales management experience.
- Direct educational admissions leadership experience required.
- Demonstrate highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects including appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to develop, motivate, and lead staff.
- Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines.
- Ability to lead and work in an observation/coaching training style environment.
- Creativity and ability to work independently.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers.
- Strong computer software skills including Microsoft Office.
- Must have a past record of integrity that would ensure compliance with accrediting standards and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
