Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning of electrical, MSR, and HLSK trades from design to execution, managing external specialists and architects.
- Create and monitor the planning schedule, including delivery lists and approval dates, aligning it with the construction schedule and offsite prefabrication.
- Lead planning meetings and design reviews, follow up on open items, and proactively address schedule delays or quality issues.
- Oversee BIM coordination and clash detection between electrical, MSR, and HLSK trades to resolve interface conflicts before execution.
- Manage plan approval and document control (revisions, RFIs, submittals) to ensure construction and prefabrication use only approved plans.
- Provide quantities, performance specifications, and variants to project management, costing, and procurement, forming the basis for bids and subcontractor packages.
- Help establish planning coordination within our new GC unit, standardize processes, and improve them through KPIs and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Completed degree in building services or building technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in planning coordination or design management for data centers or mission-critical infrastructure, ideally from a GC or Design & Build perspective.
- Proficient in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks according to ISO 19650; knowledge of HOAI and VOB is advantageous.
- Ability to manage and align specialist planners, trades, and subcontractors, resolve interface conflicts directly, and take ownership of results.
- Experience with AI tools and comfort in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment with frequent changes.
- German language skills at C1 level and English at B2 level minimum.
- Possession of a driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 60%.
