About the Role

As a Video Editor / Cutter (m/f/d), you will support our team in the professional post-production of diverse video and social media formats. You bring several years of experience in video editing and can implement projects independently, creatively, and at a high quality level. You will work on varied productions for well-known creators, companies, and brands.

Responsibilities

Independent video editing and post-production of YouTube videos, Reels, Shorts, and other social media formats
Creative and dramaturgical preparation of raw material into entertaining and attention-grabbing videos
Development and implementation of hooks, storytelling, and target-group-oriented editing design
Use of music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, and animations
Color correction, color grading, and audio editing
Close collaboration with editorial, production, and project management
Independent implementation of feedback and correction loops
Structured organization and filing of project files, raw material, and final videos

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in video editing and post-production
Demonstrable experience with YouTube videos and social media content, especially Reels, Shorts, and TikToks
Very good knowledge of common editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
A good feel for storytelling, timing, dramaturgy, and modern editing techniques
Experience in editing interviews, presentations, and entertainment-oriented video formats
Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
High quality standards and a good eye for detail
Creativity and the ability to contribute own ideas to the editing process
Good communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
Knowledge of After Effects, motion design, and animations are advantageous
A portfolio or work samples showing your video editing experience must be submitted with your application, especially published YouTube videos and social media formats.
