About the Role
The Arc Wayne is seeking a Director of Day Services to oversee the development, operation, and oversight of various Day Services programs, ensuring quality, individualized, person-centered services that promote independence and community inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and oversee Day Services programs, including Day Habilitation, Community Support Programs, Employment Services, and Transportation.
- Provide administrative supervision, direction, and support to managers of assigned programs.
- Oversee program staffing, including hiring recommendations, staff development, supervision, and performance management.
- Ensure the provision of quality, individualized, person-centered services that promote independence and community inclusion.
- Ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, Agency policies, and procedures.
- Act as program liaison to auditing officials and the Agency's Quality Assurance Department, ensuring appropriate follow-up and timely corrective action for findings.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and Agency requirements.
- Oversee program budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure responsible use of Agency resources.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required billing, documentation, and program reporting.
- Monitor program performance, identify operational concerns, and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
- Oversee the development, operations, and evaluation of assigned programs and implement improvements to support service quality and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Agency leadership and other departments to support coordinated services, address operational needs, and implement Agency initiatives.
- Communicate significant program issues, performance concerns, and operational needs to the Vice President of Operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid, NYS Driver's License that meets agency authorized driver standards.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
