EY’s Financial Restructuring (FR) team in London is a leading market team that works with stressed and challenged businesses. FR is part of EY’s Strategy & Transactions business, assisting companies and stakeholders during periods of change. The role offers opportunities to work across different FR sub-business units and geographies in the UK. Clients include companies, government bodies, and financial stakeholders like lenders or shareholders. FR delivers financial and organizational solutions to help clients adapt, succeed, or minimize downside risks. The work involves understanding business value drivers and solving problems for competing stakeholders. Responsibilities

Analyze financial forecasts and prepare reports.
Conduct interviews with client teams.
Execute restructuring procedures.
Lead or be part of project teams, with support from peers and senior members.
Establish and nurture relationships with internal EY teams and external clients.
Coach and counsel junior team members.
Contribute to or lead training courses, recruitment, and team/wellbeing activities.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a recognized Restructuring or Transactions team.
Possession of a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
Experience working on independent business reviews and formal corporate insolvencies.
Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Appreciation of the sensitivity and heightened risk of working with people in distressed situations.
