About the Role
As a remote interpreter, you will play a significant role in facilitating communication between Farci and English speakers. You must be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner, ensuring a quiet and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
- Explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with permission or at the request of the client.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Farci
- Minimum 1-year interpretation experience preferred
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills for accuracy
- Computer or Laptop
- Windows 10 or higher
- USB Wired headset
- Steady wired internet connection
- Based on your location, language testing, background check and/or drug screen may be required
