About the Role
Help make investing feel more accessible, one conversation at a time. Build relationships with our online communities, listen to what matters to them and turn those insights into better content and conversations. Create social-first content and use performance data to continually improve what we do, helping more people feel informed, confident and positive about investing.
Responsibilities
- Bring social media communities to life by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely, helpful and brand-appropriate way.
- Build genuine relationships with followers, joining conversations and creating opportunities for people to engage with AJ Bell and investing.
- Use social listening to understand what audiences are talking about, spotting emerging trends, recurring questions and opportunities to make investing easier to understand.
- Share community feedback and audience insights with colleagues across Content, PR, Brand and Marketing.
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth and community activity, using the results to understand what's working and where to improve.
- Schedule, publish and optimise platform-native content across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant social channels.
- Create and adapt engaging social-first content, including short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, using tools such as Canva and Edits.
- Maintain a positive and trusted community by recognising when customer service, regulatory or reputational issues need to be escalated and following the right governance processes.
Requirements
- Experience managing social media communities and the judgement to respond to different customers, comments and conversations in a helpful and professional way.
- A good understanding of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, and curiosity about how people use them differently.
- Experience with social media management and reporting tools such as Sprout Social, alongside the analytical skills to spot trends and turn performance data into useful insights.
- Clear, engaging written communication and a natural ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
- Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage different activities and deadlines while maintaining quality.
