About the Role
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dietitian for a leading rehabilitative therapy and long-term care facility in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, NY. This role focuses on delivering personalized nutritional care to diverse patients in a state-of-the-art clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient data to identify dietary needs, restrictions, and areas for health improvement.
- Design, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition plans to support patient recovery.
- Guide patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition principles and healthy eating habits.
- Partner with the broader healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
- Track patient outcomes and maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a relevant role is required.
Skills
- Proficient in nutritional assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to educate patients and families on nutrition principles.
