About the Role
The SAP Analytics & Reporting Team helps clients unlock the full value of their SAP data, delivering trusted reporting, analytics, and data solutions to enable better business decisions. We partner across business and technology teams to solve complex challenges and deliver measurable outcomes. Joining the team offers exposure to diverse SAP reporting and analytics environments, developing consulting, delivery, and transformation experience on enterprise-scale programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and stakeholder engagements to understand business priorities, define success measures, and shape reporting solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, report designs, and test scenarios.
- Design reporting solutions, calculations, selections, source-to-target mappings, and reconciliation approaches.
- Collaborate across client and delivery teams, demonstrating ownership for successful outcomes and client success.
- Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including estimation, planning, testing, deployment, and implementation.
- Investigate and resolve data, reporting, and performance issues in live SAP environments.
- Produce and maintain high-quality solution documentation, test evidence, and operational knowledge assets.
- Contribute to BW object analysis, lineage mapping, rationalization, and BW/4HANA transformation activities.
Requirements
- Strong practical experience of SAP BW, ideally BW 7.5 or a comparable BW 7.x landscape.
- Experience with SAP Business Explorer and BEx Query Designer.
- Sound knowledge of BW extraction, data modeling, transformation, loading, and reporting, including InfoObjects, DataStore Objects, transformations, DTPs, process chains, reporting providers, variables, and key figures.
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and producing functional specifications, solution designs, mappings, test scenarios, and delivery documentation.
- Ability to trace data lineage from source systems through SAP BW to the final report.
- Ability to support testing, releases, and live-service activities.
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years to obtain SC clearance.
- May be asked about citizenship due to security restrictions for some posts.
