About the Role
A loving family on the Upper East Side seeks a live-in weekend nanny for their three children (ages 2, 6, and 8). The role involves shared and sole childcare responsibilities, requiring the nanny to be adaptable and work collaboratively with the parents and weekday nanny. A private bedroom and bathroom are provided during work hours. Immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Manage childcare duties including sleep, hygiene routines, and meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of children's areas.
- Collaborate with the weekday nanny for seamless transitions.
- Assist older children with homework.
- Create an engaging and stimulating environment for the children.
- Keep children's belongings organized and child-related spaces tidy.
- Occasional travel with the family for short periods, if available.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must possess CPR and first-aid certification.
- Must be available to live-in from Thursday through Sunday.
- Must be reliable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
