About the Role

Join us as a Warehouse Team Manager at our Dagenham Depot to progress your career in warehouse operations. You will ensure your team works safely and efficiently, achieving key targets. Lead by example, drive high performance through communication and teamwork, and build strong working relationships. Collaborate with the shift manager for workload planning and resource allocation, and develop team members' skills.

Ensuring your team of warehouse operatives are working safely and efficiently
Achieving key targets
Leading by example and driving high performance through great communication, teamwork and building strong working relationships
Working closely with the shift manager to plan workload and resource effectively
Developing the skills of your team members to support their career aspirations and increase shift capability
Completing paperwork and administration accurately and in a timely manner
Thinking on your feet and proactively problem-solving operational challenges
Escalating issues to more senior managers if necessary
Proactively looking for ways to make improvements and challenge current ways of working

Requirements

Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment
Ability and desire to learn
Understanding the business and operation quickly
