About the Role
Join Connect Deals Engineering, part of Google Business Organization (GBO) Engineering within Global Business Applied AI (GBAI). We build the platform Google uses to structure, approve, manage, and pay out every agreement and incentive program across YouTube, Apps, and Search Ads. This role owns the full seller journey, translating the 2027+ platform vision into frictionless product experiences that streamline multi-billion dollar incentive budgets.
Responsibilities
- Own the seller experience strategy and roadmap, evolving the established 2027+ strategy and translating it into delivery, while keeping it aligned with broader agreements platform strategy.
- Organize cross-functional teams of engineers, UX designers, and researchers by running and evolving the processes that enable high-quality execution, including the CSAT/UXR program, the metrics dashboard, and bug and feature-request review.
- Build narratives that articulate the motivation, goals, and path to success, building consensus across PAs (GBAI, GBO, YouTube Ads) and functions (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal).
- Partner with YouTube Ads product leadership on incentive program launches, such as VIP modernization and new discount types, so that new incentives are easy for sellers to sell and manage.
- Direct the resolution of complex product, UX, financial, and compliance issues by evaluating multiple approaches and anticipating future implications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Experience with workflow-heavy enterprise, B2B, or internal tooling products serving user bases.
- Experience with Ads monetization, sales platforms, or incentive, pricing, or billing systems.
- Experience building or launching agentic AI or LLM-powered product experiences, and a strong interest in how AI agents will transform user workflows.
- Understanding of core product development practices, including financial controls and compliance, privacy and accessibility.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across product areas and functions, including aligning senior stakeholders and presenting to leadership.
- Ability to combine user empathy and qualitative research with data analysis to size problems, prioritize, and measure impact.
