About the Role

Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, requirements, release quality, and client outcomes for a virtual data room (VDR). Collaborate with stakeholders and client-facing teams, integrating their input with market insight, data, and judgment to define product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap, aligned with TechOps and company goals.
  • Track the VDR market, competitors, and emerging technology (especially AI), translating insights into prioritized bets.
  • Build business cases with cost, revenue, and timeline impact, making clear trade-offs and explaining prioritization and scope changes to stakeholders.
  • Run discovery with clients, deal teams, sales, and support to understand real workflows and pain points.
  • Write features and PBIs in Azure DevOps with clear business rules, scope, and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with UX design on user-centered solutions for admins, deal managers, and external bidders.
  • Work with product, engineering, and QA to plan sprints, unblock work, and keep releases moving.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product questions from engineering, QA, and UX.
  • Own release readiness, UAT, and release notes for every release, including hotfixes.
  • Triage escalations and client-reported issues, and agree on priorities with Support.
  • Define and track product metrics (adoption, time to set up a room, retention, NPS, incident and defect trends).
  • Use product analytics to judge feature performance and guide prioritization.
  • Present to key clients and partners, and support sales on high-value deals.

Requirements

  • Hands-on virtual data room experience as a product manager, product owner, VDR administrator, or heavy deal-side user.
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role on B2B SaaS.
  • A track record of writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering and QA can build and test from.
  • Experience running agile delivery with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar, including release planning and UAT.
  • Working understanding of security and compliance requirements in enterprise software.
  • Data-driven decision making, with experience using product analytics to measure what works.
  • Strong written and spoken English; ability to explain technical topics clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Background in M&A, investment banking, legal, or corporate development.
  • Experience shipping AI features such as document classification, search, summarization, or automated redaction.
  • Experience working in a distributed team across time zones.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and APIs.
  • Experience with multilingual products or localization.
  • Additional languages.
