About the Role
As a Senior Manager in EY's Wealth and Asset Management Business Transformation practice, you will combine deep industry knowledge with transformation leadership and commercial judgment to challenge assumptions, create clarity, and drive change. You will help clients rethink their strategies, redesign their organizations, reduce costs, scale new propositions, and leverage data and AI. You will also contribute to building EY's business by creating market-relevant propositions, opening new conversations, growing accounts, and developing future leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex client assignments and major workstreams.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Shape opportunities for new business.
- Contribute to account and revenue growth.
- Play an important role in developing people, propositions, and the practice.
- Shape and lead complex engagements across the transformation lifecycle, ensuring delivery quality, client outcomes, commercial performance, and measurable value.
- Provide clear points of view and challenge to senior stakeholders.
- Identify and shape opportunities, lead pursuits and proposals, and contribute to account planning.
- Shape end-to-end transformation and target operating model solutions.
- Lead strategic assessments, operating model design, client and adviser journey transformation, growth and cost transformation, organizational change, mobilization, and implementation.
- Develop compelling recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases.
- Lead multi-disciplined teams and complex programs or major workstreams.
- Oversee plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and senior client decisions.
- Lead senior client forums and communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
- Bring deep understanding of the Wealth and Asset Management value chain and operating environment.
- Use market, customer, and regulatory insight to shape transformation responses.
- Help clients determine how data, AI, technology, and platform change can improve outcomes and embed these choices within transformations.
- Lead, coach, and develop Managers, Senior Consultants, and broader teams.
- Lead the development of propositions, methods, assets, and thought leadership.
- Contribute to recruitment, learning, knowledge sharing, and practice growth.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading complex transformation in Wealth and Asset Management or a closely related financial services environment.
- Deep understanding of the Wealth and Asset Management value chain, operating environment, and current market trends, with expertise in one or more of asset management, wealth management, alternatives/private markets, or asset servicing.
- Strong experience in operating model and process transformation, program delivery, and implementation.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to shape clear recommendations from complex issues.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience shaping pursuits, proposals, propositions, and account growth activity.
- Experience leading and developing project teams, including Senior Consultants, Managers, and other experienced colleagues.
- A strong understanding of how data, AI, and technology are shaping transformation across Wealth and Asset Management.
- Willingness to travel and work at client sites where required.
