About the Role

Join Performics at Publicis Media UK as a GEO Account Manager to help brands navigate AI-powered discovery, explore AI-generated answers, and turn emerging signals into practical recommendations. Shape new approaches to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) by combining analytical thinking, client partnership, and curiosity in an emerging area of performance marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze brand visibility across AI search and LLM experiences, exploring prompts, citations, sources, competitor presence, and answer quality.
  • Translate complex GEO findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Build collaborative client relationships and educate stakeholders on GEO opportunities and limitations.
  • Create concise and engaging PowerPoint presentations to visualize data and communicate insights, impact, and next steps.
  • Develop prioritized GEO roadmaps and test-and-learn plans, collaborating with content, digital PR, analytics, and specialist teams.
  • Establish baselines and monitor key indicators such as brand visibility, mentions, citations, and answer quality, while acknowledging data limitations.
  • Manage day-to-day projects, continuously explore new platforms, prompts, and techniques, and share learnings to enhance the team's GEO approach.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with GEO, AI visibility research, or related AI search work.
  • Experience using tools like Profound, Peec AI, Semrush AI visibility products, or equivalent platforms, with the ability to interpret brand, prompt, and citation-level findings.
  • Clear, collaborative communication skills and confidence in explaining complex findings to non-specialist audiences.
  • Strong PowerPoint and storytelling abilities, capable of transforming research and data into simple, visually clear narratives.
  • Sound analytical judgment, including identifying patterns, developing hypotheses, and making practical recommendations without overstating emerging GEO metrics.
  • A curious and adaptable approach, with the confidence to explore unfamiliar problems, test new ideas, and learn as the GEO landscape evolves.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders or workstreams; agency or multi-client consultancy experience is beneficial but not essential.
