About the Role
New Monday connects experienced specialists with client projects throughout the digital product development process, expanding from UX/UI design to software development, architecture, cloud, data, and information security. We are seeking experienced experts to build and integrate information security into daily business operations. We will discuss specific tasks, start dates, and terms for suitable project inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the setup, operation, and further development of information security management systems based on ISO/IEC 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Conduct risk and gap analyses, identify areas for action, and derive appropriate security measures.
- Develop security policies, concepts, and comprehensible documentation.
- Prepare internal and external audits and support the implementation of resulting measures.
- Assist with security need assessments and the coordination of emergency and business continuity topics.
- Advise departments, IT, and management, and convey requirements in workshops and coordination meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of five relevant years of professional experience in information security management or ISMS consulting.
- Sound practical experience with ISO/IEC 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz, along with a good understanding of complementary standards and methods.
- Experience in evaluating information security risks and implementing organizational and technical measures.
- Ability to communicate complex security topics understandably and to advance measures collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Completed relevant degree or comparable qualification with corresponding practical experience.
- German language skills at C2 level and good English language skills.
- Willingness to travel for project-dependent client assignments within Germany.
- Security screening may be required for individual projects.
