About the Role
Join us as the Engineering Manager for Global Payroll UK/IE and take the lead in shaping the future of a billion dollar vertical. Responsibilities
- Build and drive day-to-day processes that lead to a highly efficient team of high performing engineers
- Set the direction of your team. Anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges and create an actionable plan to solve them.
- Collaborate with sales, product, support, and operations teams in shaping the product
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architectures
- 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager in leading small and mid-sized development teams
- Solid programming skills, a track record, and passion for improving the code structure and architecture to enhance testability and maintainability
- Great project management skills to lead, care about product ownership, an outstanding customer-centric mindset, and solving problems for our customers.
