About the Role

As a Marketing Creative in Managed Experience Technology Solutions (METS), you will be a business-focused strategic design visionary for Google’s customer-facing spaces and digital product demonstrations worldwide. You will bring creative strategy, narrative development, and brief authoring in-house, partnering strategically with external agencies when needed to elevate the quality, narrative cohesion, and speed-to-refresh of spaces, content, and demos. This role involves groundbreaking innovation and global scale, translating complex business stories, AI integrations, and early-stage prototypes into standardized patterns, modular fixtures, processes, and best practices that scale across a global network of over 100 active customer-facing spaces. You will partner closely with program managers, designers, engineers, and operational experts to design high-impact experiential environments.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex Google technologies, AI platforms, and commercial roadmaps into inspiring interactive narratives and multi-sensory guest journeys for C-level executives and enterprise clients.
  • Author comprehensive creative briefs in collaboration with the brand experience lead by facilitating high-impact design sprints, discovery workshops, and collaborative sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to align project goals before design begins.
  • Rapidly sketch, storyboard, and prototype experiential ideas in real-time alongside cross-functional partners and leadership to build consensus and accelerate decision-making.
  • Provide direction and oversight to internal engineering squads, external fabrication shops, and digital agencies during design and production, ensuring built spaces faithfully reflect the creative intent.
  • Collaborate in lockstep with the brand experience lead, business partner, designers, software/hardware engineers, and architects to ensure designs are technically viable, secure, accessible, maintainable, and aligned to the business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a creative discipline designing interactive experiences, spatial installations, museum exhibits, or flagship brand environments.
  • A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in (Brand, Interactive, Conceptual, Experiential, or Technology) design.
  • Ability to design live – creating and iterating upon experiential concepts with an audience of collaborators, including live sketching, to progress concepts quickly.
  • Ability to translate complex emerging AI technologies into intuitive, human-centered narratives.
  • Ability to advocate passionately for creative excellence while maintaining the capacity to disagree and commit when business, operational, or technical requirements override initial design intent.
  • Ability to travel regularly, including domestically and internationally.
