About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SoC Architecture Engineer to support high-performance SOCs & MCUs. This role involves close collaboration with business, product marketing, system architects, SOC design architects and designers, and software architects and developers.
Responsibilities
- Define SoC/MCU architectures and detailed technical specifications based on product requirements.
- Collaborate with vertical SoC & MCU chip development and silicon design teams for predictable, on-schedule, high-quality execution.
- Define, own, and deliver implementation specifications meeting product requirements and KPIs, ensuring compliance across verification, validation, characterization, and testing.
- Review outcomes to ensure full product compliance.
- Partner with R&D teams to define and refine SoC architecture based on implementation challenges.
- Lead IP selection and make-or-buy decisions.
Requirements
- Educational background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong background in system and architecture-level design.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience working across various architecture domains.
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
